The Vision of Christian Life Church
Habakkuk 2:2,3 - ". . . Write
the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For
the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and
it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely
come, it will not tarry."
The Vision
- To faithfully preach and teach the Word of God
II Thess. 3:1 - Finally, brethren, pray for
us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as
it is with you
Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is living
and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the
division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a
discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
II Tim. 3:16,17 -
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and
is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction
in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly
equipped for every good work.
- To minister in the power and
demonstration of the Holy Spirit
I Cor. 2:4,5 -
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human
wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith
should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
I Cor. 12:7-11 -
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to
each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom
through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same
Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of
healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to
another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different
kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and
the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one
individually as He wills.
- To cultivate both corporate and
individual prayer
- For any effort to be successful, it must
be backed by prayer. Effective praying is the key to success in
every area of life.
James 5:16 (Amp.) -
. . . The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of
a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its
working).
- Christian Life Church is a church that
prays together and for one
another.
Ephesians 1:15-23
Ephesians 3:14-21
Ephesians 6:18 -
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all
kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always
keep praying for the saints.
- To flow in unity
A. Ephesians 4:3-6
B. Amos 3:3 -
Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?
C. Acts 4:32a -
All the believers were one in heart and mind.
- Unity creates an atmosphere for the
anointing to move and to minister to the needs of the people.
- To develop personal growth for everyone
We believe that God is the God who established
marriage and families. So we minister not only to the individual person,
but also to the married couples and family unit. We desire to see
families grow and prosper the way God designed it to be. You can have
heaven on earth in your home.
We provide special meetings just for husbands
and wives that are designed to help strengthen marriages and the family
unit.
- To reach out not only to our community
but also to the world
Matt. 28:19-20 -
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And
surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Mark 16:15-20
- World outreach begins in the home. The
Great Commission cannot be accomplished with turmoil in the home, or
without knowledge of the Word of God, or without prayer.
- The entire vision must flow together.
